I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
Detective Conan
This anime is also known as “Case Closed” and as you can guess from its title, it is a detective series. The story has a twist, where the main character’s age has been reversed, so he looks like a child, instead of his own age. He gets into a lot of trouble while trying to solve his cases, especially because he is still only a high school student. He tags along with his best friend’s dad, who is actually a private detective.
Naruto Shippuden
This is one of the first animes I remember watching on my tv. The story follows a boy on his path to become the strongest ninja there is. In his way, there are many enemies that he must defeat in order to truly be the best there ever was. With a lot of enemies and also later some friends becoming enemies, it is a lot to deal with for anyone, especially for a young boy like him.
Hunter x Hunter
When Gon gets abandoned by his father, he must learn to navigate through life without him. His father is a well-known hunter and Gon decides to take after him and become a hunter himself. Besides wanting to look for animals, treasures and criminals, he is also determined to find his father as well. On his journey, he meets a lot of other hunters and encounters things he never expected to see.
