One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. It not only deals with the complex procedures in banking and simplifies them so that everyone understands them. It also packs that into an exciting and mostly credible story. Above all, I like that the German language is played a lot here. You can hear all kinds of dialects. You can hear Luc speaking Alsatian ... I think. Fenger's Dutch accent. The English-German mix, but also the occasional switch to French. I like that, it reflects the reality of life in Germany. In season two, the motivation, the dialogues and also some events are unfortunately very unbelievable. Nevertheless, I can only recommend this show
I just don't know what to make of it. Maybe it's just that I rarely watch german movies and am simply not used to how fucking awkward dialogues feel in my native language (not sure if it's the language itself or if german stuff simply has horrible writing every time?!). Anyway. It looks neat, and I generally like watching stuff about rich people in suits but something just feels off. It felt like this series was trying to tell too many stories at once, trying to showcase (too) many facets of each character, making them relatable(?). Either way, it often left me with a feeling of, "Okay, what was the point of that, now?". It was just a bit painful for me to watch at times, but for some reason I watched the entire thing, stilll. Maybe to see when it would finally start making sense and feel less awkward. (It never did)
An Excellent series, the protagonist is one helluva an actor, and I'm in love with her. Totally binge-watched this.
Watching royalty can sometimes make us feel like we are a part of royalty, but it also shows that being a leader usually isn’t as easy as it could seem. So, if you want to experience a lot of unpredictable drama with stunning scenery, clothes and visuals in general, these may be a few good choices for you:
While we celebrated the Pride month just now, why not talk about some awesome TV shows focused on LGBT characters. What if you want to learn about the people at large but you realize that there is no diversity in your close social circles. That’s when a good TV series can enlighten you with the ideas and realities. It can also save you from awkward moments in the real life by providing the right insights.
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
