Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation

GBS 2015

Kujou Sakurako is a beautiful and talented osteologist, or bone specialist, whose life is centered around bones only. Sakurako has little tolerance for illogical behavior and a lot of trouble understanding other people; she would be isolated in her study full of skeletons if not for her assistant, high school boy Tatewaki Shoutarou, who does his best to drag her out and make her interact with others. And yet, whenever they go out, the dead seem to be around the corner, because the two of them often stumble upon human skeletons or corpses.

I can't say this show engaged me in the least bit. The mystery is done very poorly and the characters are bland. There is really not much to care for here. The wrap-around can't be blamed for this except that it is overly colorful (probably just because of her name) and even has a "transformation" sequence in the earlier episodes which is odd for a show focused on bones. It's really the content that is lacking. btw: Now that there is a TMDB link for this show - good job on the terrible screen captures... doggie dog dog dog.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
