One of the greatest TV shows I've seen... The way that history, drama and romance are in the same harmony... By the way Kim Tae-ri is so beautiful... Music also amazing
It was amazing in the beginning and in the end. First couple of episodes were nice but then it got a bit dragging like some episodes were meh BUT THEN last 5 or so episodes were fantastic. They were very intriguing and just marvellous.
This is an excellent historical drama. Very vivid. I loved how they told the history with characters that were amazing. I felt for the characters and cried at times.
Kim Tae Ri was especially captivating. Her beauty and her voice were mesmerizing to me. One of the Greatest Korean Show.. Heck it can even air along with most american shows and still capture 10% viewership. This series may go down as one of the most stunning I've ever seen. Everything about it was beautiful and heartbreaking at once. The cinematography and the music are worthy enough, and the costuming is gorgeous as well. I didn't originally even plan to watch this show. I didn't think it would be a subject that would interest me because I don't normally care for historical dramas. I was sucked into the grip of this show immediately and was not let loose until the final credits came. Knowing that this series had its basis in real Korean history was never far from my mind. The writer managed to weave an epic tale of love and sacrifice. I never noticed the slow plot movement in the first part because I was so immersed in the path to get there. Each step is important to the overall storyline. And the culmination of the groundwork that was laid made the slow build up worth the wait. The story is not all tears and sadness though. In the beginning, there is definitely some humor in the mix as well to keep it from becoming too solemn. The writer really did a great job carrying us forward with each new step that our characters faced. I loved all the relationships that were formed, and the bravery of the Righteous Army, and the people of Joseon who captured my heart. So when it got to the climax, we were more than ready ---and yet, somehow, not prepared at all.
Ae Shin's first English words capture the show 'Gun' , 'Glory' and 'Sad Endings'. These kind of shows break your heart ; you are expecting it but you are never prepared for it. I don't if I will be able to watch it again.. I don't have the heart to bear it again...
this show is a masterpiece
Which could be the best word to describe this drama? Probably perfection. Everything, the story, the music, the cast, everything is in a perfect harmony. Even emotions. Tears, laughs. All in the perfect place. 10, totally ninja!
In times like this, when we’re all trying to stay safe and stay home as much as possible, it is very important to enjoy ourselves and feel relaxed while doing so. Thankfully, we have Netflix to help us out in our quest, but with so many series to choose from, you might spend hours browsing and still not being able to decide! That’s why I made this list to help you out.
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
