i regret binging 11 episodes in a day because this show turns out good and entertaining :sparkling_heart:. now let me simp over jang ki-yong for a while
It started well with a good premise and humour but by the time it reached the middle of the story, it has lost direction. The ending is extremely disappointing without much of a story. Basically he just disappeared and then he appeared again. Towards the end I was more interested in the romantic development of Jae Jin and Hye Sun.
This doesn't have an authentic story ; If you have watched "My GirlFriend is a Gumiho " but this has better comedy and less frustrating second lead. What this show does better is the comedy ; if you have watched Reply 1988 you would know how awesome Lee Hye-ri is with expression in comedy but what's lacking to make this a more enjoyable show is the chemistry between the leads. They both are very non-expressive in their romantic feelings and sometimes its an overkill. If you have Ki-yong you would know he is better suited to be a killer or psychopath than a romatic gumiho. I liked all the moments the three friends interacted and I also liked Lee Dam's comedy . I also liked Lee Dan and Seo-woo ; Soo-keyong's cupid moments at the end. Overall there are many funny moments and it was an enjoyable as a weekly watch but i wouldn't remember for long or crave to binge it again.
While we celebrated the Pride month just now, why not talk about some awesome TV shows focused on LGBT characters. What if you want to learn about the people at large but you realize that there is no diversity in your close social circles. That’s when a good TV series can enlighten you with the ideas and realities. It can also save you from awkward moments in the real life by providing the right insights.
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
