Do not be misled by the low ratings it received in English websites because it is a common trend for shows which tells stories about life, relationships, death, break-ups, moving on, and challenges families and friends face together. One would often hear/read reasons like "it's unrealistic" and "it doesn't happen in real life" so they gave it 1 out of 10 rating, probably less if they can. 지금 헤어지는 중입니다 or Now, We Are Breaking Up is not about romantic relationships, it is about life and relationships. A story about husbands and wives, a story about a dying mother and young innocent daughter, a story about parents and their children, a story about a father and a mother who only wants the best for their children, it is a story about life itself. Of happiness, of pain, of misunderstandings, and of making it up. It is a story about you and me, and the relationships we have built throughout our lives. A story about the process of "breaking up" with the people we love -- be it because we fell out-of-love or because one was tired and had to sleep and take their well-deserved rest. A story how we are all "Now, We Are Breaking Up".
When the a show is about real-life, lessons, break-ups, it gets low ratings and much hatred. LMAO. You'll even read comments like "it's too unrealistic" and "it doesn't happen in real life". I guess they're "too blessed" to have lived a life in perfect bliss. But for the rest of us, life is colourful. For the rest of us, life is a challenge, full of mountains and roadblocks we have to conquer. This is why shows like these, which speaks from the heart and reminds us how human we all are, is a perfect 100 out of 10.
THE FIRST EPISODE STARTS OFF IN A RIDICULOUS WAY (but jang ki-yong ftw) Let's see how it plays out Update ep 5/16: I swear this film has the most absurd dialogue (I'm watching with the English translation) i keep snorting
One of the worst I have watched. No movement and no progress but the two of them just staring at each other most of the time. I was more interested in Chisook, Chihyung and Misook's stories. I must say I watch this for Jang Ki Yong but acting wise I think he did very poorly here. I couldn't take his dorky fake smiles. He should stick to dramas like Kill It where it was very well done.
Isn’t it great when your favorite TV show has characters from all over the world? A lovely Spanish or a funny Indian accent can always make a show interesting but cultural presentation is what brings awe to the viewers life. I am presenting you with the three best TV shows that will add colors to your to-watch list!
Don’t know about you, but since the lockdown, I have had more free time than ever. Maybe it’s because we did not actually realize how much time we were wasting. So the other day, whilst I was pouring myself a glass of wine, I remembered how much I love and missed genre “Fantasy”. It was my favorite genre since growing up, maybe because I was too much into Avatar, but yeah I miss it. So today let’s talk about best fantasy TV shows.
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
