I watched the whole thing and now I wish I had stoped after the first episode.
Well I managed to get to the end of the season, it’s an okay show, could have been so much better! The acting is not the best, but the story keeps you watching...... There are plenty of holes in the script, but some how it does still keep you watching. If you have caught up on all of you other shows then maybe give this one a go and let it fill the gaps until your favourite shows return
For anyone who started this and wants to give up (like I honestly almost did), at least either get to episode 3 (or skip episode 2 entirely just to get to 3 quicker) because that's when it finally starts to go somewhere. I watch A LOT of TV, and if I almost gave up ... so people with way less time would dump this show in an instant. Dunno what they were thinking, but those two first episodes should have been crunched down to 30 minutes (max), and then they could use the last 10 min of that first episode to start where episode 3 started ... otherwise it's just too damn slow. Anyway, will update when finished watching.
Finally, a show that answers the question, "What if Lost made way less sense, spelled everything out for you, and every character was both completely insufferable and also a total moron?"
This is what happens when one rejected 'black mirror' idea is stretched into 7 painfully boring episodes. People who made it don't understand what Sci-Fi is about. If you look at any good 'black mirror' episodes, you'll quickly see that the fancy tech isn't the star of the show. We are. The human condition and human nature. And the tech is just a vehicle through which the show explores it. This is exactly how this show is advertised. "Nature vs Nurture" an age-old philosophical question. Will criminals change their criminal behavior if they forget everything they know about themselves? Or will they go back to their criminal ways, because being a criminal is just a part of whom they are? This is how the trailer portrays the show. An exploration of human nature. Spoiler alert, this question is never touched throughout the show in any meaningful way. There is also no mystery as by episode 3 they just flat out tell you and the main character what's going on. Also, this is a side note, but this is something I found hard to ignore: This show goes out of its way to portray men as assholes. It's hard to ignore when it's so obvious. Every single female character has a justification for the bad things she had done in her past. While the majority of the men are just assholes without any explanation as tho what made them become assholes. For instance
one of the females is a nurse who euthanized people in pain, the other was coerced by her boyfriend to rob a bank, another tracked a rapist and killed him, another tried to escape from her abusive husband and the last one didn't do anything, she just was framed.
while the majority of the male prisoners don't even have a back story, no justifications or reasons to why they did what they did,[spolier] one just likes to rape, one is just a mass shooter and one just can't take rejection so he kills women who reject him.
I enjoyed it, even though I was painfully aware of how absolutely terrible it really was.
Its bad. Just bad. The idea/consept was good, but the story writing and the acting is just terrible.
I was expecting so much more. Instead, it's quite boring.
For something with clearly such a big budget, this appeared to be very low budget. Second rate acting, basic scores, dodgy camera work. The storyline itself had quite a lot of promise. I was intrigued. As questions were answered, more questions were asked. And I was curious to hear the answers. That said, I wouldn’t say I was clutching the edge of my seat with anticipation or excitement. At least Chase and K.C. were attractive I suppose. All in all, I can see why this won’t be returning for a second season.
I'd rather shit out of my mouth then watch something this bad again.
Watching royalty can sometimes make us feel like we are a part of royalty, but it also shows that being a leader usually isn’t as easy as it could seem. So, if you want to experience a lot of unpredictable drama with stunning scenery, clothes and visuals in general, these may be a few good choices for you:
Isn’t it great when your favorite TV show has characters from all over the world? A lovely Spanish or a funny Indian accent can always make a show interesting but cultural presentation is what brings awe to the viewers life. I am presenting you with the three best TV shows that will add colors to your to-watch list!
Don’t know about you, but since the lockdown, I have had more free time than ever. Maybe it’s because we did not actually realize how much time we were wasting. So the other day, whilst I was pouring myself a glass of wine, I remembered how much I love and missed genre “Fantasy”. It was my favorite genre since growing up, maybe because I was too much into Avatar, but yeah I miss it. So today let’s talk about best fantasy TV shows.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
