The Moaning of Life

The Moaning of Life

Sky One 2013

Now Karl’s turned 40 and has officially hit middle age, it’s time for him to re-assess his life. He’s not married, he doesn’t have kids, he’s got a job where he’s known as an ‘idiot’, and he’s known for being miserable. He’s classic ‘mid-life crisis’ material. As Karl attempts to put his life in order, he’ll be dispatched around the world on a crash course to find out how other cultures deal with life’s big questions. The ups and downs of Karl’s experiences will be contrasted against the beautiful geography of the countries he visits, captured on HD with stunning aerial photography.

At first I was a bit sceptical since it's Karl playing Karl but if you liked "An Idiot Abroad" you will enjoy this aswell.

i think maybe Karl Pilkington is the funniest englishman alive, and what makes him so is that his humour is spontaneous, he just thinks about things, a different (stupid, you might say) way of thinking, but it's funny as hell!

Great show, yet not quite "An Idiot Abroad". Watching Karl complete tasks he has organized himself simply cannot measure up to the tasks that Rikki and Sky made him do. I'm still waiting for him to finish a Bungee Jump.

This is An Idiot Abroad Lite. It's almost as good but it's just missing the 'Ricki comes up with a plan to mess with Karl' aspect, which was one of my favorite parts about that show. Still Karl goodness though.

Karl is such a genious, I don't really understand how this show is so low rated.

    About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
