Nice show in the vein of Bordertown. Saw the twist coming by the last 2 episodes, but was still well done nonetheless - super suspenseful. Characters were a little harder to relate to - Kata was relatable but Arnar you never quite got the full picture of his backstory, wish they would’ve gone into it a little more.
Certainly feel bad for all the boys who were at that foster home, no wonder one of them went crazy!
I have a few things to say about this series. 1) It was definitely enjoyable - the storyline was old but good and completely watchable and now for something completely different (a few annoyances for me - but maybe not for you) 2) Either the dialogue was poorly translated from Icelandic to English or the dialogue itself was just bad - I'm guessing it was mostly the translation (American phrasing and idioms were just bad) 3) It felt like the American/English voice actors kept putting word emphasis in the weirdest places 4) The main character Kata is a horrible detective and maybe even not a very smart human being. Her deductions and decision making were just bad most of the time. As a detective, her character should have been fired long ago. On the other hand this might have simply been the most realistic portrayal of a real live human being doing her job as a detective. Don't jump down my throat for items 2 thru 4 as I'm probably just in a bad enough mood today to feel the need to mention my annoyances with this show. Aside from that, I'll most likely watch season 2 if it is made.
Mixing reality shows and food seems like the perfect combination for just about anyone. I always get amazed what some people are able to make under a huge amount of pressure. The cooking shows are so entertaining as well, because it’s always regular people competing. Just make sure not to watch them on an empty stomach!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
