Going into this documentary I had very little knowledge about Vietnam. I knew it went poorly for the US, but I didn't even know the outcome. The series started with a historical summary of the colonial period. Then the war begins. With every episode, the reality gets sadder. My disbelief kept growing. The US leadership making one mistake after the other, while South Vietnam was being consumed by greedy and corrupt politicians. The common people kept dying and the leadership kept pumping more of them into the meatgrinder. I was waiting with every episode for things to finally change for the better, but it kept getting worse and worse. To call this war a tragedy is an understatement.
Very well done. So much I didn't know and worst yet, so much that was kept out of PQ at that time because of... translation..?
Very interesting so far, I was very young when this was happening but I do remember seeing this on the news.
While we celebrated the Pride month just now, why not talk about some awesome TV shows focused on LGBT characters. What if you want to learn about the people at large but you realize that there is no diversity in your close social circles. That’s when a good TV series can enlighten you with the ideas and realities. It can also save you from awkward moments in the real life by providing the right insights.
Don’t know about you, but since the lockdown, I have had more free time than ever. Maybe it’s because we did not actually realize how much time we were wasting. So the other day, whilst I was pouring myself a glass of wine, I remembered how much I love and missed genre “Fantasy”. It was my favorite genre since growing up, maybe because I was too much into Avatar, but yeah I miss it. So today let’s talk about best fantasy TV shows.
Mixing reality shows and food seems like the perfect combination for just about anyone. I always get amazed what some people are able to make under a huge amount of pressure. The cooking shows are so entertaining as well, because it’s always regular people competing. Just make sure not to watch them on an empty stomach!
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
