The Way Things Work

The Way Things Work

BBC One 2004

"The way things work" is the ultimate televisual guide to the world of machines; inventions and technology for curious minds of all ages. The series is based on the David Macaulay's hugely successful book. It is designed as an entertaining, humorous and informative series for children and their parents; in fact anyone who may find technology intimidating and wishes it were less so. "The way things work" shows how machines do what they do, as well as explaining how the concept behind one invention is linked to the concept behind another, thus showing, for example, the connections between a wheelbarrow and a can opener; or a windmill and the first dentist's drill...

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me ๐Ÿ‘‹ I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. bingingโ€ฆ) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter ๐Ÿ™ˆ

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I donโ€™t feel like watching it all over againโ€ฆ

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
