Great season. Little rushed & short. Hopefully there is 1 or 2 more seasons. Overall great ending to a great trilogy.
Can't wait for the trilogy's finale movie. Meow.
Well, at least we got Trollhunters... 3Below was a big letdown - just as it started to find its footing at the start of the second season it obviously succumbed to rushed schedule and cancellation of 3rd season. They can claim 2 seasons were always the plan all they want, but it's pretty obvious how they rushed through plot points in the second part of the season they just condensed season and a half in half a season, but on the other side they wasted a lot of season 1 on filler episodes. Even if they got another season it would never have reached the heights of Trollhunters - characters while likeable never clicked in the same way. And then we got Wizards. A major step up from 3Below, it hums and sings for the first half of a season. It really builds up everything beautifly. All the conflicts, character motivation, world and history. It truly reached Trollhunters level from the get go... And then it all comes crashing down in flames. It is essentially the same problem the 3Below had - too much to tell in too little time. Problems arise and solve itself literally in a matter of minutes. You never get to really process what some twist or hurdle means to the story, it's already gone. There's no room for a story and world to breathe and consequently there's no chance for a viewer to care. Those plot points we rush through are the seeds of a great story, if only it got time to be properly told. It truly could have been Trollhunters level of great. In the end I had to force myself to watch the last couple of episodes, and I've drawn it out over weeks. Terrible end to something that could have been really special. Arcadia deserves better.
An unfortunate end installment to a great animated series. Wizards' story was overly confusing due to its rushed production, with elements rarely explained or brushed over. Whereas Trollhunters suffered from the occasional filler episode, Wizards would have done well to double its length to really flesh out character motives (I'd say 3below struck a decent balance). Stunning to look at of course, and with fantastic animation and voice acting, Wizards will satisfy but you can't help thinking that it could have been more.
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
