Just finished watching a couple of episodes. Firstly the cast is solid and the show has done a great job capturing the magic/realistic nature of the wild west. Plus there are some darker sides of the lawless of the times. I especially enjoyed the monologue coming from the young lead female lead. I hope this show will be part shocking (Brutality), informative, sad, exhilarating and picturesque. I just hope they don't mix too much romance into the storyline!
Ok Tyler Sheridan did not disappoint with this one so far, two episodes in and loving it. Great cast and the story keeps getting better, not for the faint of heart, the show has a lot of violence and scant language. If Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown are your jam, do not miss this one.
Looking forward to this, especially as Sam Elliott is in it. Owner of the best western moustache ever! He brings a great presence to anything he's in. Isabel May, excellent as narrator, looks remarkably like a cross between Jenifer Lawrence and Natalie Portman! A future star in the making.
People keep voting without any episode is out, is kind of ignorant. That said, I'm really happy about this and can't wait to see it. It's from Sheridan who's the mind behind Yellowstone, one of my favorite shows. The trailer looked good.
So, Trakt linked to Syncler shows 1883, but when I select episodes or play 1x1 up comes some shit called "Hey Joel" and in Trakt watched it shows f*ck*ng Hey Joel! WTF Trakt!
Ok, I love Yellowstone - interested to see how this plays out, western expansion hints that the native population should still be there (There are multiple mentions in Yellowstone, that the land making up the Dutton Farm was originally in use by the native population).
Watched first 2 episodes - very good!! Better than Yellowstone - which has turned into a sort of soap opera. So far 10/10
Enjoying everything about this show but the overly bleached white teeth and any time the model with the “blonde hair” (they didn’t even try to hide her roots) starts up the cheesy narrating. Turns out Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are solid actors.
What a great Christmas present for 2021. I watched the first episode today after getting to know this show has started. I'm huge fan of Yellowstone and Beth Dutton in particular. I immediately liked Elisa Dutton (played by Isabel May from Run Hide Fight). We can see from whom Beth inherited her unconquerable soul from. Like Beth, Elisa too has a special bond with her father. Tim McGraw playing James Dutton didn't come as a surprise since Yellowstone's season 4 flashbacks had him playing the role. I'm really excited to see how this story unfolds and what Sam Elliott's, LaMonica Garrett's and Faith Hill's characters bring in to the story. There's some serious star power there. Having said that, since this story is being told from great ancestor Dutton's (Elisa Dutton's) point of view, this will be a big role for Isabel May. No pressure, but I'm sure Isabel will make us all proud. Another notable thing is how the writers have given different accents to other supporting characters, and in certain cases they can't speak English at all (the German immigrants). This is very rare in previous historical stories about pioneers. I think this type of authentic portrayal of American pioneers is a need of our time, and I'll leave it at that.
I'm really enjoying this show! Good actors, great scenery and solid story. So far, every episode was better. Nice job.
Amazing cast, top lead. Pioneering had a grim outlook, it is well portrait in this TV show... AND!!! Can we have a spin-off with Billy Bob Thornton playing ALL the parts?
Billy Bob Thornton was mentioned ad a cast member I was hoping he'd have a bigger part than just a cameo role. He seemed like hed fit in right in this series.
5 Episodes in and it's pretty good so far.. looking forward to this series lasting quite a few seasons. Hope the quality of writing keeps up. 9/10
This is quickly turning into my favorite show. I find it to be a blend of Lonesome Dove and the TV Series from the mid-70s “How The West Was Won” with a little of the classic western Red River tossed in. Absolutely, love the Isabel May character Elsa Dutton. Really hoping they don't kill her off. Doesn't look good from the opening sequence of the series.
The trakt link to this is incorrect, keeps showing me some animation show
i guess this is more stuff for USA persons, since its over there in western. for me, living in Portugal, i have zero idea I must say that only one episode is left, but i give a 9 no this show all the actors for me have done a great but great show and the surrounds really make me feel that this really happened, and probably part of it happened for real cant wait for the last one but sad if they dont make a season 2 what a dramatic show and im not even the type of person that enjoy drama that much
tyler has done a lot of cool shit but this will be what he's remembered for
ROFL METOO does the wild wild west. How far is the Hollywood brainwash going to venture? A shame. This one had potential but having a feminist popup every ten minutes with no purpose other than reminding us all we don't live in 1883 and/or toxic masculinity is bad detracts from the experience. Guess MTV not the most reliable when it comes to wild west storytelling.... Anybody known a series whose main theme isn't "who runs the world girls"?
Best show I have seen for a very long time 10/10
Why is her nose always dripping with snot..
Best show out there. Visuals, story, acting all great
The best series I have seen in a long time. After watching the regular series I highly recommend watching the behind the scenes special _1883: The Road West_.
I love this show. How can you not love Sam Elliot in absolutely anything he does? With the exception of some really bizarre accents, this is a superbly done western. I didn't even care that it's a prequel to Yellowstone, this show stands on its own without any tie in to other shows.
Excellent story and very authentic. 10/10 Make sure you watch the Special episode for a look at the way it's made and written.
I'm a sucker for a good Western but mannnn who knew Tim McGraw could act
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
