**[1899] - Season One: _8/10_** *(Great)* ___ >“What we know is a drop. What we don’t know is an ocean” While “1899” differs greatly from the show Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese had previously developed, it is nevertheless excellent science fiction. The show has stunning visuals, an atmospheric score, and a baffling mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s impossible to look away from an episode because of your immersion in its reality. The acting is decent, especially from Emily Beecham and Andreas Pietschmann. Fans of “Dark” or those who love a Sci-Fi mystery will definitely like this. Without giving too much away, I’d say it’s an amalgamation of some of the finest science fiction from the 21st century, yet it all comes together nicely. I can see how the first season’s ending would disappoint some, but anybody who has followed this pair for any length knows they are keeping their biggest surprise for the very end. All the pieces are in place for an epic season two; everyone who worked on this show deserves a big round of applause. I can’t wait for what season two brings!

I can't believe I spent a whole day watching 8 episodes of this junk. So disappointing.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
