I went into this series expecting something more in the vain of Vikings, an historical show based on the loose texts and knowledge of the era. The second I let go of this I started to enjoy the show a bit more and see it for what it is. Though I don't expect this show to be renewed it has set up some interesting premises and possibilities for future seasons and the clash between these "fictional" cultures. It is not Rome, it's not Vikings, it's something else and it's worth a (full) watch.

Am into Druids, magic etc . Watched first hour or so expecting great things. Thought it was very confusing, who's who?? Amazing that Romans invade Britain and have fluent English, at least they should have a slight accent as in Vikings. Very posh druids... Never saw Romans wearing trousers??? Will give it a second chance and hope it improves.

Got to halfway through the 3rd episode and thought "why am I wasting my time with this rubbish?" So well known actors but the plot (Is there one?) is awful. Roman General goes off on his own to meet the head Druid????

As a Canadian I had no idea what to really expect from UK television, I too thought perhaps it would be Rome/Vikings like, and almost made the mistake of not watching the rest of the series after an episode of two, I have to admit my first thought was do Brits really think Druids could use the Jedi mind trick?? lol, but once you look past some of the sillier parts of the show it really isn't that bad, most certainly worth a watch and enough that I actually do hope they bring it back for another season. David Morrissey (Governor on Walking Dead) got me interested at first, the amazingly beautiful Kelly Reilly kept me watching and I'm glad I did ;)

Daring, gritty, exciting, weird, lavish, funny, and unforgettable... rule Britannia. 9/10

Watched season one with serious doubts. I couldn’t understand why they’ve got modern era mixed in to this era. And the music is almost 70’s Psychedelic. Enjoyed some of the characters and it had promise, although the main girl actress needs some lessons in acting. Season 2, episode 1, completely ended any little interest I had. It’s now off my recommended list and on to ‘awful, do not watch’. No idea what they were thinking with this...is everyone in production etc drunk?

I love so much. The best series!

Unbelievably bad! The story is all over the place, historically inaccurate, terrible script, badly paced, some good actors who must be thinking "what the fuck have I got myself into?" - don't waste your time or energy on this dross!

I do not like commenting on any shows until I watch it completely. I was not to certain about how I feel about this one after episode 2. Nonetheless, I watched it. I would say it is very conflicted. It is not the typical "Rome" tv show you are accustom to. It is something completely different and unique. Now whether it is good or bad unique, I'll say it is up for interpretation and perspective. I did watch it to its entirety. Did I enjoy it. I don't know. Do I regret watching it? No. Would I recommend it? Sure, with great caution. So here you have it. My comment is equally as confusing as the show. Believe me.

Great show as long as you can let go of the historical inaccuracies. You get a large plot and a subplot, with talented actors and a decent amount of laughs thrown in. The amount of characters might seem daunting at first, but just like game of thrones: if you have a decent head on your shoulders you'll catch on in no time!

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
