This is a show that has unexpectedly touched me at times. The sincerity and quaint nature of each character and to their relationships matches the enduring spirit of those charged to pursue their faith or bring new life into the world. A subject that could easily be cheesy and procedural actually wraps you up into its world through every complicated birth and to the light at the end of every tragedy. The word "hope" underlies this world's reality. It's a hope that can be found for each and every character. This is not something many shows take the time or care to do. Even with the losing of the main characters or settings you still feel like you're returning home, to a familiar and inviting sensibility that smooths out any one characters' rougher edge. It tactfully navigates history and cultural sensibilities while allowing relationships to be complicated but not overwrought. This show feels like art. If you're willing to dive in you can discover how it helps support you instead of the mania of "fandom" we currently employ to keep every shoddy mockery alive and rebooted past their expiration. Could this show have gone that direction? Had it done anything less than create a masterful setting and tone, absolutely. Finding myself drawn to complete it in the face of 200 other shows I'll watch this year I believe speaks to the value and power of its perspective.
So, where are the Specials? There was a Christmas special episode every year. I 'collected' them. But I don't see them here, nor can I access them through my box.
Have delegated from my collection but it keeps showing up in progress!
Have removed from Collection but keeps appearing how do I get rid of this!
But... Whoever never had never seen this show... You must!!! But I can say... Only the first three season are plenty of feelings the like I wrote the principal character had been practically replaced because the actress left the show... Right now I'm watching the 4th season and it's not the same... I hope looking forward the other two seasons...
The show really misses Jessica Raine.... After season 3 it's not quite the same... She gave to the show the feelings it needed... She was the time, she was the silence, the thought... Pratically the show turned around the actress... What a pity... I think the fans miss also to hear call Jenny.... And the sounds of her voice during the episode... Great loss...
Watching royalty can sometimes make us feel like we are a part of royalty, but it also shows that being a leader usually isn’t as easy as it could seem. So, if you want to experience a lot of unpredictable drama with stunning scenery, clothes and visuals in general, these may be a few good choices for you:
After a hot day outside, there’s nothing better than getting inside and cooling down, all while watching something on the tv. Luckily for all of us, there is plenty to chose from and more and more series are coming our way. So turn on your AC, get yourself a cold glass of your favorite drink, sit back and enjoy.
Mixing reality shows and food seems like the perfect combination for just about anyone. I always get amazed what some people are able to make under a huge amount of pressure. The cooking shows are so entertaining as well, because it’s always regular people competing. Just make sure not to watch them on an empty stomach!
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
