A totally MUST WATCH British TV show that anybody 'over the Pond' will love as it is British TV at it's very best!!!! "Trust me I am a TV addict."
Almost done with season seven but think this is it for me. In this season (and maybe all of the previous ones but I really didn't notice?) every episode have followed the exact same format and it's getting boring. A short sequence where someone is found dead, queue opening music, the main characters is doing something silly, they get noticed about the dead body, they follow leads that get them nowhere while the Commissioner and the two Officers has a separate "funny" byline, they round up all the suspects at a café and all of sudden reveals evidence and stuff in a timeline that you as a bystander has no way in figuring out. So bye, bye.
Sold to 237 territories around the world and set to return for season SIX in 2017!!!!
A really enjoyable english-french lighthearted crime drama series by Robert Thorogood. What makes it enjoyable are the characters Ben Miller (Saxondale, Armstrong and Miller) playes a perfect english detective in Richard Poole, so far out of his depth, as well as his distaste for island life. Sara Martins (P.J, Insoupconnable) playing the DS Camille Bordey as well as Danny John Jules (Red Dwarf, MI High) as Officer Dwayne Myers as the most chilled / lazy police officer you will ever see. Great writing and as we've seen with other shows a new lead character in this case Kris Marshall as D.I. Humphrey Goodman in Season 3 doesn't ruin the formula. Can't wait for Season 5 (2016). But, a funny, well acted, well produced crime drama to get your detective hats on for. Highly rated and I recommend reading the DI Richard Poole novels by Robert Thorogood as well.
Great show, with 'whodunit' plots and fabulous characters ..... so sad when finished its run. Recommended viewing!
Perso je trouve cette serie pas mal , un peu le columbo de notre epoque ;-)
While we celebrated the Pride month just now, why not talk about some awesome TV shows focused on LGBT characters. What if you want to learn about the people at large but you realize that there is no diversity in your close social circles. That’s when a good TV series can enlighten you with the ideas and realities. It can also save you from awkward moments in the real life by providing the right insights.
Mixing reality shows and food seems like the perfect combination for just about anyone. I always get amazed what some people are able to make under a huge amount of pressure. The cooking shows are so entertaining as well, because it’s always regular people competing. Just make sure not to watch them on an empty stomach!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
