It's hard to believe how well this was put together at times. I'd say the first 10 episodes are definitely the best, after that the story line has reached a point where it's less exciting. That doesn't mean the rest of it is bad though, not at all. One thing that striked me is that there were often tensions moments when Light get's interrogated. Ever time when it seems like he's getting caught he comes up with another waterproof lie/alibi to trow off any suspicion. Which is what I meant by the first sentence. I actually got a Death Note book as a gift after I finished the series :)

Kinda sucked after when L died :'(

One of the most perfectly interlinked and suspense TV show I have ever seen..

kawaii anime

It's an awesome anime

First 25 episodes are amazing 10/10. After that it isnt that good really.

This is a very good anime indeed. Still, I don't get, why people call it 'the best anime'. I feel like the show started deteriorating after the death of L. It somehow felt forced. The ending is also quite disappointing and - in contrast to the rest of the show - predictable. Too bad, they messed the final third or so up.

one of the best show of the last 100 years. strongly #1. & i don't think the movie would do it's justice, it will horribly flop.

Death Note is great. It contains an insanely unique plot and has remarkable, memorable characters. Its art style is highly detailed and fits the mood of the story quite nicely. I can say the same of the soundtrack. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to make them think or anyone looking to get into anime. Though I did enjoy its live-action television drama from this year more, this was a good show and I do not regret watching it in the slightest.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
