Defiance

Syfy 2013

Set on a future Earth, Defiance introduces players and viewers to a world where humans and aliens live together on a planet ravaged by decades of war and transformed by alien terra-forming machines. It centers on Jeb Nolan, the law-keeper in a bustling frontier boomtown that is one of the new world’s few oasis of civility and inclusion. Nolan is a former Marine who fought in the alien conflict and suffered the loss of his wife and child in the war. The trauma transformed him into a lone wanderer in the wilds of this new and dangerous world.

Yep, this ils getting nowhere... And even if it was going somewhere, there're so much things that just dont work... Like those irathiens, why do they have To speak another language? Why do they have to look like sh$t? You can't have simpathy or empathy for them the way they are... And what about all those borderline stupid characters?... The only good thing about this show is the opening credits that are far more better than any episode!

One of the better SciFi options out there, definitely worth a watch. Imaginative, good writing, acting, and special effects (though some are obviously miniatures filmed as if life-sized). A great story arc instead of thing-of-the-week, and season 1 provides a satisfying ending that leads well into season 2.

I'm not really getting the "play the game" part of this series? When you play the game you will be able to impact the ending of the series? Or does the game have nothing to do with the serie's story? Anyway the trailer looks awesome and I hope this will be a huge success.

avatar

Oh well. Frell this, I can't force myself to watch another episode of this dren. And I refuse to use “shtako” as a swear word and/or use it at all.

avatar

Confirmed. Show has been canceled. Reason that's been noted is the cost of producing the show.

I'm watching this now and I really want to like it but... I hate it when shows try to "do too much" by appealing on some many levels that it becomes blatant pandering. I'm going to give it a fair shake, and watch a couple of episodes, but so far it isn't the best...

It's not everyday I get chills from watching the trailer to a new tv-show. But this one, I really did... :O http://youtu.be/tkpyeDks-m0 It looks incredible to say the least!

Tolle Serie. Leider nach Staffel 3 abgesetzt, aber immerhin mit einem logischen Ende.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
