Damn addictive
Fairy Tail brings nothing new to the table DBZ style fighting with arcs that look just like the one before and fan-service that even gets in the way of whats going on in the series and the writer doesn't care how many plot holes it makes (especially since its one of the main reasons why people buy his manga) im hoping that the tournament arc will be epic but i wont be surprised if it ends up being something a elementary school kid can make up if anything FT is not a serious Anime/Manga and if this keeps up it never will be 2/10
This is my very favorite anime. I am so glad the author didn't stop writing it. I will literally cry after this finishes. But this anime has everything. It's so addictive that you look forward to each episode. It has action. Romance a bit. But it's amazing the work is good to. I recommend anyone who likes fantasy to watch it.
Okay so this is what basically happens in every arc: Step 1: Some OP villain appears outta nowhere Step 2: Beats the crap outta everyone easily Step 3: Everyone tries to get up but put down Step 4: Someone yells friendship value and/or "We are from Fairy Tail" crap Step 5: Everyone's like "I'm all fired up now" Step 6: Defeats him with only some random ass flashy powers or in a few punches Step 7: YaY! Now go back to step 1 Some good things about this anime are: Characters, comedy and the fillers. Story is childish crap Only one arc I really liked was that Dragon arc (final arc of FT 2009)

This show is about the power of friendship & is my favorite so far! ;P
Good shounen show with very little filler compared to the rest of the genre - the series ended where it did due to having caught up to the manga it is based on, meaning it will likely be at least a year until a second series, and probably a while more, given the rate at which manga chapters are adapted to episodes: it is published weekly, and the average has been around 2 chapters per episode, thus a one-year break would create enough material for roughly 25 episodes - my bet would be for Winter 2014, which would give them around 70 episodes worth of material before they catch up again (40 episodes worth during break + 20 while those air + 10 while those in turn air, +- a few to allow them to stop at the end of an arc).
Last few episodes of the season were a letdown, fairy tail is an anime that started as a bad anime and gradually got worse. The last season was the worst ever imo.
