So too are the strange Homunculi and their shadowy creator. The mythical gem lures exotic alchemists from distant kingdoms, scarring some deeply enough to inspire murder. Everyone closest to the center of Father's nationwide transmutation circle, including Ed's group, survives to discover that Father has used the souls of over fifty million Amestrians to suppress God within a new, youthful body. Father neutralizes everyone's alchemy, but, before he can annihilate them, Hohenheim reveals his countermeasure: he had spent years traveling the country, placing fragments of his own Philosopher's Stone into the earth to use as foundation for returning the Amestrian souls to their bodies. The stone fragments are activated by the eclipse's umbra, and the souls are ripped from Father's body back into their original bodies, which weakens Father to the point of barely being able to suppress God anymore. The eclipse then lifts, blinding Bradley with sunlight and allowing Scar to kill him. Scar activates the nationwide alkahestry circle his brother and fellow Ishbalans had been preparing, which restores everyone else's alchemy at their greatest potential. Facing the full strength of his opponents' attacks in his unstable body, Father retreats aboveground to find more souls and replenish his stone supply. Ed remains behind to fight Pride while everyone else chases Father. Pride tries to steal Ed's body to replace his own unstable one, but Kimblee's soul reappears within him and taunts him while Ed enters his body and destroys it, reverting him to the form of a small fetus-like creature. Ed spares Pride's life and leaves to join his friends.

This is a masterpiece. Simple as that. Definitely in my top 3-5 animes of all time. This show has everything (comedy, romance, drama and, of course, tons of action). You fall in love with all of the characters and every side story and character really gets developed over 64 brilliant episodes. Don't think. Just watch.

Not only is this one of the best anime shows ever made, it's arguably one of the best animated shows ever made. It has everything, it's accessible, it never drags but it doesn't feel too short. This is both an excellent introduction to anime for newcomers and something even the _weebiest_ will still love.

Best anime ever. Even if you're not that much of an anime watcher, you must see this!

The best show ever made.

If anyone were to ask me what anime they should watch first, I'd tell them Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood every time. It's got something in it for everyone, action, drama, intense and detailed plot, great characters, it's easier to think of things it has than what it doesn't. Both the English dub and the subtitled Japanese version are great performances. This is definitely a must watch for anyone who wants to call themselves an anime fan.

Pretty great anime if you ask me! It's #1 on MAL, but for me, I don't think it's the best anime ever created! One thing pulled me from giving this a 10. Which is the obscurity and non-immersiveness I felt sometimes. Sometimes you feel like nothing but a spectator, unlike other animes where they explain the laws early one to engage you in the thought process, FMA didn't do that well. They reach a situation where you think it's a pinch and it's hard to get out from (which is great for suspense in an anime). But when they solve it by inventing a new law, you're kept wondering how was that possible in the first place. they've done this quite a few times especially towards the ending. So yeah! A solid 9. Good story, good script, good animation (most of the time). But the fact that it leaves you hanging with unanswered questions. I don't like that. And not the artistic hangs wherein it purposefully leaves you hanging, nope, questions that have answers, but elsewhere in forums and Wikis.

La mejor historia que he visto en un anime hasta los momentos, IMPRESCINDIBLE!!!

Bom anime, boas batalhas e me prendeu do meio para o fim, apesar de se tornar um pouco previsível no final, por essas e outras dou nota 8.

One of the best shows that has ever been made!

One of the best animes I've ever seen, a serious and simple story, without deviations, simply one of the best.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
