When did the Aussies start making great tv like this? With zombies, love triangles, murder, mystery and drama, it delivers a great story with minimal special affects. Well worth a watch.
This won 2 AACTA Awards, among others, one of them being best television drama? Really? Does that mean the Australian television landscape is mediocre at best? Don't get me wrong, the show itself has its moments but other than that this lacks greatly. The dialogues are either stupid or simply terrible. Scenes have often consistency errors. People other than our cast are background noise only or there to provide exposition. Hayes is incredibly stupid, making everything worse with his decisions, especially in the first season. This character trait bugged me greatly. Telling Vic what's going on without any proof or willingness to proof what he said, leaving in the middle of the discussion with the words "I am not crazy". Yeah, clichéd and always works, right? Omitting crucial information just because it creates drama between characters (Chris for another example). That the risen have some sort of border, a limit, was obvious the moment Carlos died. That Alexandro died roughly the same time is no excuse to dismiss the potential danger of leaving town with others. Pay attention Hayes! The moment the doctor said Sarah "technically died" was f**king random and ridicolous. Instantly triggered me thinking that she isn't Sarah anymore. Should have ringed all bells for Hayes as well, but he is an idiot, so it didn't. He can't put two and two together. Characters turn to assholes, or turn out to be one because the really interesting things aren't the point of this show. Sarah's family is of no concern in this show, so killing is of no concern, no one will ever ask any questions about the killed ones. Generally burying bodies wherever you want will raise no further questions or suspicions, it was the same with Vic. There's no explanation how the dead are raised other than magical science crap. However, that one is at least just a small part, even if it enables the whole story, it's more of a MacGuffin, really. But still lacking. Also no explanation on who Vic was after he died, or Beau's father, or Sarah, where they come from, why they have no limits and such because - again - the interesting things aren't the point here. The end is open as of S2 and unsatisfying as is. Glitch is apparently trying to get a third season order or more to end things and not to answer things when it's time. While Glitch is overall not the worst show ever it definitely is nowhere near the praise it did get. Could you watch it? If you have nothing else, sure. Do you need to? No, not at all. Acting is most of the times good, though. I enjoyed at least the performances of the risen, except Vic and alike, and the actor playing Beau.
Amazing show! Keeps you wondering and wanting more. Amazing cast and well written.
I watched seasons 1 2 3 this weekend. firstly I want to commend Netflix for creating this or somehow sourcing this onto their platform. this show was captivating from the very first episode until the very last. It presented a unique and fresh story that is not the typical regurgitation that you would see coming out of Hollywood. It was new it was fresh. The actors did the show Justice. they may not have been the best actors in the world but there mediocrity seemed to add to the particular style of the show. overall I would give this show an 8 out of 10. great story writing, great screenplay, great music, great character development and overall good TV show. usually when it's sad to see a show end. but I'm happy that I found this show after the final season was created. It was good to see the story unfold and to be taken along for the adventure. It was good to see how the story ended. couldn't have been better? I think that there are things that could have been better explained. that might have been a few things that should have been further developed. but a little mystery and a little uncertainty helped the overall finished product.
It could have been great ; plot doesnt make sense most of the time and the cliche's ... this average at best ...
I like that there was no good or bad ending. Great show, I really liked it.
The show is great and all but this stupid trakt.tv shit is stupid
Glitch season 2 is supposed to be on Netflix 11-28. Can't wait to watch it.
Brilliant piece of Australian television. Unique story, great acting and wonderful views of the Aussie countryside. Can't wait for season 2.
Does anyone knows if when sarah died in the last epsode did she turned into whatever that cop was or nothing happen?
Like I mentioned before, during these times, you have to be able to relax and is there a better way than sitting back and binging on a really good series? I don’t think so! We’ve already covered some series that are available on Netflix, but what about other services? Well, now we’re going to see what Hulu has to offer.
Mixing reality shows and food seems like the perfect combination for just about anyone. I always get amazed what some people are able to make under a huge amount of pressure. The cooking shows are so entertaining as well, because it’s always regular people competing. Just make sure not to watch them on an empty stomach!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
