Love this show! Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are awesome together
Keep going. The first few episodes feel like the timing is off just slightly. But by the third episode, they seem to have gotten it right.
Try to push through the meh first season. S02 is amazing and S03 is even better.
Meh... was expecting more. A missed opportunity for Netflix. Overall lacks any sort of depth to the plot -- characters not engaging. Dull, uneventful and predictable. Homogenized junk.
After a lot of meandering this show really seems to have found its feet in the excellent penultimate and final episodes of season 2. Fonda and Tomlin are always a joy to watch despite the often lacklustre jokes and uneven tone, and Tomlin is surprisingly adept at bringing pathos to the more emotionally resonant material.
Sol and Frankie are, rather ironically, the other characters in this show that feel like they have any chemistry together... except for perhaps Mallory and Coyote as well (also ironic). But even if the relationships/pairings feel a little forced, the humor is there, as well as well placed dramatic moments. And while the characters (read: Frankie) can be a little bit overdramatized in their characteristics, they do at least show character development as well. Definitely a show to binge watch on a lazy weekend.
Cute and funny and sweet and surprisingly heart-felt. Love it!
A wonderful roller-coaster of emotions. Weirdly relatable for a Gen-Z like me.
Feels dated. The "My houseband is gay" angle might have been all the rage in the 80's, now its just "so what". The "posh bitter WASP vs crazy new age hippie" freenemies relationship is forced and not funny at all. I'd rather watch "Golden Girls" than this.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me ๐ I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. bingingโฆ) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter ๐
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I donโt feel like watching it all over againโฆ
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
