Another (teen) shit drama with magical elements from Netflix. The episodes look sooooooo long, everything that happens is slow... watch the first episode, the idea is cool and that's all you need: know the idea, because the execution - in this case - doesn't matter. I would love to see this in HBO, it could be an amazing show.

One hell of a superb fantasy adventure ride where i finished the whole season in a single sitting (last something like this happened was with Stranger Things). Enjoyed Narnia? You will love this! Wished for a not so kids friendly Disney show? This is for you! Show was funny, interesting, dark and mysterious. Even the VFX was awesome! The ending was well made, with some twists abit predictable but still a very good ending towards the end. Now I can't wait for Season 2. Show deserved a 10/10, but some parts were abit draggy and unnecessary. Overall the show was for me a 9/10

Some very good writing and one liners. Enjoying it so far

Everyone keeps making stupid mistakes. Mistakes that make no sense to even be made. Aside from that it's alright. Hopefully the second season will be written better. I would give it a 7/10, but honestly those mistakes feel like lazy writing so I'm gonna be lazy too.

Three episodes in and I'm already seriously annoyed by the characters' irrational choices and unrealistic behavior. Keeping secrets or lying for no good reason, promising one thing and doing another, etc. And they keep doing it over and over. And I'm not even mentioning their almost casual reaction to
discovering a magic mirror that serves as a gateway to another realm. After such an experience any real person would start to seriously question their f****ng sanity or at least have a panic fit and leave that house to never come back again. I know I would. But no, these kids are like: "Wow, magic door. I guess that's nothing to be seriously alarmed about." Even after losing their father in a horrific and traumatic event it doesn't seem to bother these kids at all that they just almost lost their mother too inside this magic mirror maze.
And these are just a few examples on the top my head. There's much more where that came from. It's like watching an '80 horror movie where someone in an already dire situation hears a scary noise and decides to go towards it instead of running to safety. And sure, that was okay then. Maybe fun even. But today, these 30-40 old "proven devices" have become just that: old. Really old, both literally and figuratively. But apparently 30-40 years was not enough time for these writers to come up with something different or original. It's a shame really, because I think the story overall is quite interesting. But it is starting to become almost unbearable to watch when the only reason the characters behave the way they do is because it's the easiest way to move the plot into a certain direction. It's lazy writing like this that makes characters unbelievable and unrelateble.

definitely great concept, horrendous execution

Quite enjoyable. Writing is decent for the most part (some unrealistic plot-devices like police immediately closing a door upon arrival on the crime scene without taking pictures or anything), actors are convincing. Story is actually quite interesting. The only thing which really doesn't make sense is
that the Demon can take the keys from anyone but the Lockes. What makes them special? Did I miss the explanation for that one?
I loved the comics, this adaptation is a real let down, I've waited years for this to happen, so it feels extra painful that this is the best they could do...

I Love it! Something new, always making me want more. Hope you all enjoy as I did.

If you have never read the comics this show is decently entertaining with a very interesting world and magic system. But it has some of the dumbest character decisions and writing you have ever seen on TV. And the acting for the most part is just average (and the Mom IMO was even pretty bad). If however you have read the comics and like me are a fan of them this show is a complete trainwreck. It just feels like a extremly dumbed down (was that last scene really necessary?), PG-13 CW-like show with insanely stupid characters (seriously what the fuck were some of those decisions?). I mean this is supposed to be a horror show but nothing in it says that. Not creepy atmosphere, nothing. If you're expecting a good horror show based on the comics you are going to be immensely disappointed because this is just a basic teen drama and not even a good one at that.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me πŸ‘‹ I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter πŸ™ˆ

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
