God I want a second season _already_... Binged the first in a day and just want to see what happens!
I love it. Need the season 2 pls!
Pretty basic writing/storyline but it doesn’t matter because it’s real and resonates. The acting is good enough to carry the story and the special moments and interactions with Simon keep you wanting more. 2nd season needed!!
Really enjoyed this new series and really really hope they get picked up for season 2!!
kinda cheesy but suuuuuuper cute and lovely
Well... that was disappointing. Listen, this show has its heart in the right place. Its intentions are truly good. And that's honestly the reason I made it throught till the end. But I genuinely don't understand how this has a 93% score in Rotten Tomatoes. The storyline and the dialogue are so unrealistic and cheesy that it affects the overall experience. The actors are okay (I especially enjoyed the girl who plays Mia), but they have to deal with such bad dialogue that it makes them look worse than they are. Look, I understand that I'm a little too old (21) to be the target audience for this show, but I don't think that's an excuse. _Love, Simon_ was an (in my opinion) unexpected success because it managed to be a fun, light and funny teen movie that still had a lot of emotional moments and great performances. It didn't try to be something else, and that was its biggest strength. _Love, Victor_ tries to replicate the atmosphere of the movie, but it fails to do so. There are great topics being discussed here, and representation is always amazing, but in this case, the fact that the show doesn't seem to take itself seriously has a negative impact on the story. Some of the situations and conversations are borderline bizarre and unbelievable, and they turn what could be a relatable and touching story into a 'just okay' show. The way people react and respond in conversations is extremely clunky and unnatural. It's cool if they wanted to go for a 'light' tone, but even when the show tries to go for comedy, it's often not very good comedy. And honestly, what's up with that terrible Hallmark-movie title sequence?
It also doesn't make any sense that Victor and Simon become instant best friends. It's just the most random thing about the show for me. Nick Robinson is in one of the episodes (although he couldn't make it to set, apparently, because the scenes where he's in are heavily edited to make it look like he's actually there when he's not). It would've been a nice touch to have him here, if it wasn't for the fact that his inclusion in this story doesn't serve any purpose other than fan service. I really think the story would have been the same, if not better, without Simon being in it.

I also thought the story would explore bisexuality, but it's just never even considered as a possibility. It's okay if Victor's gay, but the show seems to solve every problem in the most basic way. Either you're gay, or you're not. That's reflected on the dialogue in multiple scenes and with many other subjects. I thought his story with Mia would lead to an original discussion about this, but nope.
It's a shame, because I really enjoyed most of the characters, especially Felix, Lake, and Pilar, but also the main characters. The guy who plays Victor does a great job. I hope season 2 (which I'm pretty sure will exist) gives them something better to work with. There are still some emotional and funny moments here. Is it great? No. It's not terrible either. But even though it deals with important things and has the potential to be a really good show, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe next season...
A story with a lot of emotions and feelings.Just don't compare this with love simon. This is good in its own way with more substances.
Really enjoyed this. My partner and I watched it in one day. Bring on Season 2!
Love, Victor happens at the exact same place as the movie Love, Simon, only a few years later. Even though I really enjoyed watching Simon on the big screen, watching Victor felt a bit more real and that’s very important. With his deeply religious and conservative family, Victor struggles to come out to them. Beside the fact that this show is very enjoyable to watch, it’s also so important for everyone to see the whole point: you should truly, unapologetically be who you are.
The only thing better than drama is drama with some spectacular music. Empire is a series about a music industry and there’s always a whole lot going on. With everyone always being at each other’s throat to see who’s going to be the next king of the empire, you’ll be stuck watching episode after episode, without even realizing it. In addition, the music is so good that you will want to download at least a few songs afterwards.
Get the inside view into Brooklyn’s police department and everything that happens besides catching the bad guys. The witty humor and the never-ending action are only some of the reasons to keep on watching. The characters are all so incredible, so picking a favorite is an impossible task. It’s also very exciting to see all the developing romance.
Don’t know about you, but since the lockdown, I have had more free time than ever. Maybe it’s because we did not actually realize how much time we were wasting. So the other day, whilst I was pouring myself a glass of wine, I remembered how much I love and missed genre “Fantasy”. It was my favorite genre since growing up, maybe because I was too much into Avatar, but yeah I miss it. So today let’s talk about best fantasy TV shows.
Like I mentioned before, during these times, you have to be able to relax and is there a better way than sitting back and binging on a really good series? I don’t think so! We’ve already covered some series that are available on Netflix, but what about other services? Well, now we’re going to see what Hulu has to offer.
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
As much shame and guilt as I feel while watching these reality series, I can never get enough of them. It’s never fun having your own drama, but when it’s blown out of proportion and has nothing to do with you, suddenly it’s something a lot of people want to watch. We’re always looking forward to the next episode and simply can’t wait to see more of it.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
