Parenthood

NBC 2010

From writer/executive producer Jason Katims, this contemporary re-imagining of the blockbuster 1989 film depicts the colorful and imperfect Braverman family: four grown siblings sharing the headaches, heartaches and joy of being parents. When Sarah Braverman, a financially strapped single mother, returns home to her parents and siblings in Berkeley, California after packing up her Fresno apartment and uprooting her two inconvenienced kids, Amber and Drew, she is greeted by her opinionated father, Zeek, and strong mother, Camille, who are privately dealing with their own marital issues. As Sarah is reunited with her siblings — sister Julia and brothers Crosby and Adam — all struggling with issues of their own, it's clear that the Braverman reunion is just what they need to face the everyday challenges of modern family life.

I love this show. It has me crying almost every episode. I love that no matter what their drama is, no matter how chaotic life is, no matter how mad they may be with each other that they always come together in the end for their family.

Throughout this sitcom/drama, the Braverman family overcomes challenge after challenge as the show takes us into several separate stories that all come back to meet in the middle. Parenthood's cast is well stocked with well-known actors, up-and-coming actors of all ages and races. As the show is loosely based on Ron Howard's Parenthood, the characters are each relative to characters from the film, though their names, endeavors, location, and characteristics are all quite different. The show is very decent and roughly 90% of the time is perfectly appropriate for the whole family. Whether you're looking for a good laugh, a good cry, or just a feel-good story line, Parenthood is sure to satisfy.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
