Heavy with style but lacking in substance. That's the sum of Peaky Blinders. Peaky leans hard on slow motion shots and a modern punk/indie rock soundtrack that you'll either love or hate. I actually like the choice of music but how many times do we need to see someone walk past a fire breathing factory with a cigarette in hand and punk rock blaring in the background before some actual character development happens? Cillian Murphy is excellent but aside from one or two other characters the rest of them are very one dimensional. You see all the faces in the background pic on this page? Less than half of those faces have any real narrative in the show. Because of this you are left with just a couple of prominent figures that tend to be overused The story-lines are never all that compelling either unfortunately, style wins out here as well. I thought the first season was decent and I was curious to see if they would improve for the second. When it was announced that Tom Hardy would be joining the cast I was pretty excited. Sadly his role isn't featured that much so his impact was minimal. I see people trying to compare Peaky Blinders with Boardwalk Empire and I just don't see it, Boardwalk had compelling story-lines and an ensemble cast it actually used. Here's hoping season 3 will be different.
It's like Boardwalk Empire... except in England.... and instead of being excellent in every way, it's just kind of okay....yeah.
Excellent series. Fantastic production value and some awesome soundtrack with some superb actors. Just finished Season 2 today and it's one of my favourites. Can't wait for Season 3!
This series is Awesome, from photography to soundtrack and to actors everything is just brutal!
Great series, better soundtrack. And at the top of all is Cillian Murphy.
Just brilliant, always knew Cillian Murphy was something else acting wise but this really shows him off. Tommy Shelby, what a character!
This show is highly acclaimed and due to this I keep trying to like it. This is my third time starting it and I just find it boring and uneventful.
Best series on TV gets better and better and the actors all of them are brilliant!
Late watching this programme....watched all 4 seasons back to back after season 4 had finished... Great programme, tom hardy the funniest character ever, love it that he keeps turning up. Great cast and good surprise sounds along the way....final episode on season 4....very clever :)
One of the best shows on right now!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
