**you don't usually get to see three female characters so three dimensional and well acted in tv or movies.** you can feel the pain in camille, the sorrow in adora and the angst in amma. you can understand what they do, even when you don't agree, you just say to yourself "okay she's doing what she's gotta do" i really like character driven content (the leftovers is my favorite tv show ever), so i think this show is a must! also, the plot makes you want for more. it has a great soundtrack and directing (same from big little lies, which is as magnificent as sharp objects). amy adams is superb and i hope she get some awards. the rest of the cast is great as well, but amy adams is amy adams right :)) update: i was really surprised by the end. loved every second of the show!!
Three episodes in and what do we know about this show? She eats next to nothing, drinks vodka like there's no tomorrow yet manages to stay more sober than a teetotaler. Oh and something to do with murder of a girl or two.
This looks promising! The cinematography seems impecable. Plus, we finally get to see another Gillian Flynn novel come to life.
It was a slow beginning...but then I could not stop watching it. A very good piece.
this show is absolutely boring
It's 6AM, the sun is coming up and I'm just in a state of shock after binging the entire series. This was the bleakest, darkest and most beautiful thing I've seen since the first season of True Detective. If Adams doesn't get an Emmy for this then there truly is no justice in the world.
One of the best tv shows of 2018.
Wow! This show was MIND BLOWING! The finale left me in goosebumps. I'm not going to spoil it but there are many articles that do spoil it but also explains the ending. I haven't read the book but will soon. The show has done justice to the book and why not, the author Gillian Flynn was 100% in on it. This show is perfect. For mystery lovers. Amy Adams was the right choice for the role. I don't think anyone else would have done justice to the character which was Camille. All the characters were perfect. Ugh this damn show is perfect! I will be re-watching it again. THIS SHOW IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Watch the show for it's great acting, directing and screenplay. Watch this show for a mind blowing plot.
This show reminds me of the first season of True Detective. Tone and pacing are quite similar, although it's not as good as TD. 3 episodes in, and still hooked.
Halfway through and quite the worst so far I have watched, so bad ,I need to know how it ends and if the dross continues. The drinking is overplayed, the flashbacks are overplayed, the laid back attitudes of the characters are overplayed the younger girls are uN believable and badly acted. This is over indulgent on behalf of the director.
After a hot day outside, there’s nothing better than getting inside and cooling down, all while watching something on the tv. Luckily for all of us, there is plenty to chose from and more and more series are coming our way. So turn on your AC, get yourself a cold glass of your favorite drink, sit back and enjoy.
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
Because I’m watching so many imaginary scenarios, it’s nice to take a look at things that actually happened every once in a while. The drama from documentaries really feels a lot different than those from series you just know didn’t happen. I love being aware of everything that is or has been going on and Netflix is really great at helping us with that.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
