Surprised people seem to not like it as much as I do. For context, I am a late 30s white male and usually get annoyed by thrown in your face gender politics but this didn't do that to me. Amazing acting and I was intrigued with all 3 episodes so far. Guess I am blind to something others can see. I also feel like it is trying to give both sides to all stories. Just watch the amazing actors do their thing.
How many stars can you get into one series? A lot apparently - there are tons of big names in this show! First episode is good-ish, but the next two get much better. Hope they can keep the quality up. 8/10
I decided to give this show a look because I was curious about the wide difference between what the critics think and what the audience seems to think. The first 20 minutes or so were ok. I like all of the actors in the show and Aniston appeared to be doing some really good work. That said, I said to my wife "the only thing keeping this show was a music bed behind the dramatic scenes". And then came the music bed and it went full-on network drama. This is not a compliment. The main problem with this show is that the story just isn't compelling. It might be one thing if something like this happened mid-series once we got to know the characters. The last third of the show was completely unwatchable. As good as Aniston was at the beginning it was uncomfortable watching her cry in scene after scene. I don't get what attracted the actors to this show. There have been soooooo many good series on cable these days - couldn't they find a better one? This is especially true of Steve Carell as he has been in some wonderful dramas. EDIT The show did get better in later episodes as new storylines and conflict developed. That said, it's pretty safe to say that in just about every scene where someone cries or loses their s*** it's a bad scene. follow me at https://IHateBadMovies.com or facebook IHateBadMovies.
I really loved the dynamics between characters. There were moments you wanted to throw something at the screen, moments you actually felt the injustice and abuse and wanted to react. And one of the strongest moments for me was when Alex (Jennifer Aniston) finally cracks on air and goes full swing. Totally worth my time! Awaiting the next season.
At first, I thought the show would only be about
the life of _The Morning Show_’s cast and crew but the bigger theme is about sexual misconduct and the silence associated with it in a workplace environnement
. And that’s really good because we, as a society, need that. For me the MVP of this show are _Billy Crudup_ as _Cory_ and _Gugu Mbatha-Raw_ as _Hannah_. _Cory_’s character is so well written and played. Most funny, likable and unlikable character at the same time.
And _Gugu_’s performance toward the end is :clap::clap:
What A Great Show  great acting from lovely actors Must seen
I really enjoyed this show! It was gripping, had a great story worth telling. Great acting from everyone! And good character development! Absolutely loved the last episode!
This could be a decent show if they replaced Aniston with a good actress
I'm very suprised by this show. I never expected that this show would be so good. I thougth ... yes, "big" actors and lots of excersive advertising from Apple. Bla bla bla. But holy shit, the acting, the camera rides (like Birdman) and the story is really great. And then there was Billy Crudup with his stupid grin. I am very curious if the 2 season can keep up this level and if i as a spectator will be knocked off my socks once again. We will see ...
It's not perfect. There's some tremendous dialogue that Jennifer Aniston just falls flat with on a few occasions, and I had a hard time believing Reese Witherspoon cast as the plucky underdog reporter. Irrespective, it's really well written. I enjoyed the complexity of it. The narrative was cynical yet fresh on the subject that has had every other hot take on it done to date. Well worth a look. Really enjoyable.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
