For the glory of Merlin, Daylight is mine to command! The best animated series i ever seen in my life! Go Watch TrollHunters! The voice acting and the art style is the best combination can see at the moment NOT ONLY FOR KIDS! i think the best potential of the show is for the all ages.
The show grows on you as you go on no matter your age. The voice cast is excellent. While late Anton Yelchin is irreplaceable as the voice of the lead hero Jim. Yet, if there's a season 2 someone will have to take his place sadly. You realize he's the heart of the series as you go on. I found the show some-what cheesy at first but it becomes more charming and fun as it goes on.
I am unqualified to speak about this genre which seems to be somewhere between Child and Young Adult Fantasy, but I can give you my perspective. The draw for me was Guillermo del Toro's storytelling skills. I am just discovering his work and find him to be a master storyteller and will continue to follow his projects across genres. The animation for this is beautiful. The voice talent is good, pulling in some pretty big names. As an adult the story telling sometimes gets bogged down in the silly, but I think if I were a child the humour and the silly characters may be appealing. As a Star Trek fan I think it is sad that this was Anton Yelchin final project (he played Chekov in the 2009 reboot) before he died tragically in a freak accident when his car slipped its hand break in his driveway, suffocating him, as he was pinned to the wall. If this series continues to a third season, as it seems to be set up to do, they will find it hard to replace him - he perfectly inhabited Jim Lake, Jr. I binged this series and give it a 7 (entertaining) out of 10. For a young audience it may be an 8 or an 8.5 out of 10. [Children, Action, Adventure, Animated Fantasy].
>"Destiny is a gift. Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor. That to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don't think. Become." As of lately, DreamWorks has been putting out hit after hit content. From the A-tier _How To Train Your Dragon_ and _Kung Fu Panda_ trilogies, to the excellent assortment of Netflix programming, they haven't disappointed me thus far. But when I first heard about _Trollhunters_, the first of a three-part original 3D-animated series, I was expecting a character-focused/filler-present romp like _Race to the Edge_. Wow, I was wrong. **Very** wrong. An adaptation of his own children's book series, _Trollhunters_ is, in a sense, a hero's journey created by Guillermo Del Toro. It's like a mix of the lore-heavy _Lord of the Rings_ and the mystery-driven _Gravity Falls_, and it clearly shows how much nerd culture and love that Del Toro dedicates to his work. We have the high school nobody, the comedic best friend, and the smart love interest teaming up to ward off evil from another world. I think the best thing about _Trollhunters_, much like other similar "small-town" stories I've seen (i.e. "_Gravity Falls_") is its excellent variety of characters! Not only are these three main antagonists full of depth and emotion, but so are the rest of the reoccurring townsfolk met during this story. You may just think these minor characters are just existing to drive the plot, but as you get closer to the story's finale, you begin to notice they ALL play important roles. _Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia_ is like watching a borderline A-tier DreamWorks trilogy, but instead is expanded into a 20-hour series rather than a 6-hour set of films. It even has some gorgeous art direction and incredibly unique character designs. I can't recommend it to just anybody, although I definitely encourage taking a look if the genre interests you at all. This really is Del Toro's love letter to the fantasy genre, and it's a non-stop joyride! As for the rest of the _Tales of Arcadia_ trilogy...well, that remains to be seen (for now). 9/10
Un très beau compte de Guillermo del Toro avec une très belle qualité d'image et une histoire bien faite. Pour les petits et les grands fan du genre !
This is great fantasy series, full stop. Great for all ages.
What a great series, this is for Anton yelchin.....great actor......when i first watched it i was like they should of made it live action but simply awesome the way it is
Isn’t it great when your favorite TV show has characters from all over the world? A lovely Spanish or a funny Indian accent can always make a show interesting but cultural presentation is what brings awe to the viewers life. I am presenting you with the three best TV shows that will add colors to your to-watch list!
In times like this, when we’re all trying to stay safe and stay home as much as possible, it is very important to enjoy ourselves and feel relaxed while doing so. Thankfully, we have Netflix to help us out in our quest, but with so many series to choose from, you might spend hours browsing and still not being able to decide! That’s why I made this list to help you out.
Like I mentioned before, during these times, you have to be able to relax and is there a better way than sitting back and binging on a really good series? I don’t think so! We’ve already covered some series that are available on Netflix, but what about other services? Well, now we’re going to see what Hulu has to offer.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
