Whose Line is it Anyway?

Whose Line is it Anyway?

ABC Family 1998

The show where everything's made up and the points don't matter. Not a talk show, not a sitcom, not a game show, Whose Line Is It Anyway? is a completely unique concept to network television. Four talented actors perform completely unrehearsed skits and games in front of a studio audience. Host Drew Carey sets the scene, with contributions from the audience, but the actors rely completely on their quick wit and improvisational skills. It's genuinely improvised, so anything can happen - and often does.

I must admit I was rather reluctant when WLIIA came back on, thinking it could never be as fun as before, but a few episodes in I was completely won over. The humour is still topnotch and makes me cry-laugh basically every single episode and Aisha is an awesome host (so glad they didn't bring back boring Drew Carey). Also the sketches are literally the same, so I don't get what people are complaining about. This is a hilarious show and the new seasons are just as brilliant as the old ones.

The new host is garbage, but the rest of the cast is still good :D

I was so happy when I saw this show came back but at the same time I do not like Aisha or her celebrity guest bits I literally skip all of them. The rest is fine.

Seasons 9 and 10 have fucking ruined this show. I tried so hard to give it a chance but the "celebrity" guest stars with their novelty wearing off after 1 sketch, Aisha Tyler's fake laughing and lack of real comedic banter, the overuse of sketches that should be used sparingly.. it's just a shit-fest of depressing proportions. I thought they'd improve in season 10, I stayed watching to see if they did, they didn't. I genuinely fucking hate what The CW has done to this show. They can't handle any show past 5 seasons without shitting all over it. Fuck 'em.

About Me

I am Sophie and this is my website.

A little about me πŸ‘‹ I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.

But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter πŸ™ˆ

I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…

I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.

Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
