I'm never gonna watch anything as amazing and as beautiful as this masterpiece and I know it :/ One of the very very few comedy shows that did not rely on the romantic relationships of the main characters to be successful, Tina Fey is an absolute genius to have written a show like this :)
takes all the great traditions of slapstick & screwball wit to package perennial comedy to the masses, where the unexpected is truly the norm. does away wisely with overtly serious dramatic elements in this heightened, surrealist, full on comedic world. 30 rock is one of few shows that can pull great jokes out of thin air, where the joke is at the forefront and feels like most of the show, and then you realize it like a sly dog endeared characters and complex ideas to you without your realizing. tina fey is rich in that she has struck comedy gold.
I think this might be my favourite show of all time. It's smart, very funny and it's got so much heart. Every actor is great, the writing is snappy and (most) characters evolve out of their single dimensional shell.
The funny part is I had never heard of this show before but I took the plunge one day Netflix recommended it to me and well... I am in the middle of my re-watch. Honestly I can't recommend this show enough to anyone reading this. This show has an **unmatched** wit and pacing that is pretty hard to beat. All the characters are brilliantly written and executed by their respective actors. Honestly the closest thing to this show is _maybe_ Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (since it's also written by Tina Fey) although its not at the same level. I'm not a person to throw 10's around but if there is anything that deserves it is this beautiful show. Seriously, go watch it.
Can't wait for the next season!
Started off ok but with 2nd season show was really awesome i really started loving it like 9-10/10, but there was accelerated decline with season 4 by season 5 it became one of Cringiest show i ve ever watched i could barely stand it, liz lemons character had serious change in her character in a very negative way she became dumb as hell over time and somehow not ? what ever the hell that was 5th and 6th seasons were worst thing i ve have ever watched ever and 7th season didnt restore it to quality of 2nd and 3rd season which i had hoped, yet 7th season was better than 5th and 6th even if in a slight.
one of the funiest show i seen. It's intelligent and fresh. the castng is perfect. Alec Baldwin is just a boss.
A show that will be missed greatly, changing the landscape of future comedies.
Still one of the funniest shows on TV. Though I am glad the next season is the last, get out while it's still good.
I feel this show started the onslaught of the new-age comedy like parks and rec, community, even Bojack horseman. Great show and should be appreciated for what came after it
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
As much shame and guilt as I feel while watching these reality series, I can never get enough of them. It’s never fun having your own drama, but when it’s blown out of proportion and has nothing to do with you, suddenly it’s something a lot of people want to watch. We’re always looking forward to the next episode and simply can’t wait to see more of it.
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
