this is a must watch :'(
Few episodes in and you won't regret watching this anime. Every episode has its own charm. Plot was very strong and It'll make you think "What is right?". This is a must watch and I'll definitely recommend this anime to everyone.
10 episodes in so far and this show has definitely grown on me. I wasn't totally sold (but was intrigued) by the first couple of episodes and it has built itself up at a good pace since then. There's a nice mixture of story-of-the-week but with an overall narrative going which I think works really well here and gives you time to learn more about Dororo and Hyakkimaru and see them develop. And wow, I was not expecting the show to be quite so gory or deal with such harsh themes either. Then again, I'm not massively familiar with most of Tezuka Osamu's work (for my sins), other than knowing he was the author of Astro Boy and is considered by some to be the father of manga/anime.
Very interesting show a man father sells his organs off to demons and with each demon he slays he gets an organ back. The concept is definitely different and I love that its a samurai style show. I am already hyped to see next weeks episode and see what he has come back to him. I wonder if his voice will be the last thing that comes.
Can't wait to see how he takes a leak.
My first animes I watched were Death Note Naruto and FMA, a bunch of years ago now. When I finished them I just had this very special and indescriptive feeling that run through/fill you, this feeling that, when you discovered them, made you love animes. This is the first anime since a while which left me with this exact same feeling, it's like you just achieved watching a masterpiece, you are aware of it, you just enjoy every minutes of watching because you know they are precious. Dororo is a gem.
Although it gets boring at times, the unusual art style and strange plot is refreshing.
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
