As Hiyori ends up drifting out of her body more often than not, she takes advantage of her new agile form. Despite being reminded by Hiyori about the job she paid him for, Yato insists that he can't do anything until he gets a new Regalia. Assuming a Regalia could be made from any phantom, Hiyori goes in search of one, only for it to turn out to be a really hostile one. Hiyori attempts to fight the phantom herself but is stopped by Yato, who is injured in the process. After retreating to treat his 'blight' wound, which can spread if left untreated, Yato explains that Hiyori's tail is what connects her to her physical form, and if it is cut, she will die. The phantom returns, and Yato spots an uncorrupted spirit and claims it as his new Regalia, which takes the form of a white katana, allowing Yato to defeat the phantom. Yato afterwards decides to name his Regalia Yukine, which transforms into the form a teenage human boy.

A god named Yato answers a five-yen prayer to defeat a phantom that has appeared above a school using his Regalia, Tomone. Shortly after the battle, however, Tomone decides she is fed up with Yato and requests to have his contract with him terminated. Now without a Regalia, Yato takes up a new request to find a missing cat named Milord. Whilst he is doing that, a girl named Hiyori Iki spots him walking into the path of an oncoming bus and dives into to save him. She pushes him out of the road but is hit by the bus herself, and afterwards finds her spirit separated from her body, although she is able to return to it safely. Whilst recovering in hospital, Hiyori hears strange voices before having another encounter with Yato, who formerly introduces himself as a god. Some time later, Yato finds Milord but is attacked by the phantom. After Hiyori helps Yato escape, she learns that the incident from before has resulted in her becoming a half-phantom lying between the worlds of the living and the dead, causing her spirit, which has a cat's tail, to sometimes leave her body. After learning of the situation, Hiyori gives Yato five yen as a fee in order to help her get back to normal.

The second season of Noragami has just finished and it surpassed the first in every way. I remember really enjoying the first season but finding the final few episodes and confrontation a bit underwhelming. Well, the second season doesn't have that problem. It hits the ground running and remains consistently good throughout. Deciding to animate two arcs back-to-back with little-to-no filler in between was definitely a wise decision by Bones. As others have already said, this series really does stand out from other more generic action/comedy shows, thanks to a likable and well-developed cast, good quality animation and of course a godly soundtrack by Iwasaki Taku (also responsible for the soundtrack in Katanagatari). All in all I have really enjoyed Noragami thus far and I hope we get more in the future.
While Noragami isn't exactly a masterpiece it is a well-rounded show with a good cast and animation to set it apart from the big pack of generic, shiny, fantasy action shows. The story follows the god Yato (who is weirdly dressed like a Slav) on his quest to gather a following and build a shrine. To achieve that he does all sorts of odd jobs for the lowly cost of only ¥5 - the amount you tip when you pray at a shrine in Japan. Hiyori, a girl who's soul gets stuck between the human world and the afterlife joins him as his longest contracted "customer" aswell as Yukine, a teenager who becomes Yato's regalia (weapon) to combat evil spirits. While there is initially a lot of comedy mixed inbetween the show gets progressively "darker" in tone but is still played save. I really hope the show gets another season because there is enough left to explore and the format works really well.
In a world of bland stories and repetitive storytelling, Noragami stands out. I can't help but to think that, with its many sides and moments, 12 episodes don't even begin to scratch the surface on these series's potential. I won't spoil it too much: if you are in for something slightly different from the usual, watch this one.
With a story and and great animation, Noragami really stands out. There is more to the story in the manga, but unlike some animes this one gave the anime a proper ending. OVA 4 is the story after the episode S0213. Overall i really liked the anime and would definitely recommend everyone to watch it.
Loved this! It has some plot holes and there's not much to the story but it's fun and short (too short). Fell in love with the characters super quickly none the less. Fingers crossed for another season!
This one's just amazing. The thicc plot, badass background music, lovable characters and development. Not gonna read manga just because I wanna watch it animated for BGM <3 Have a listen to them OSTs on YouTube!
I was close to dropping this after watching the first season because it didn't seem to be going anywhere however the second season far surpasses the first. Looking forward to a possible 3rd season.
If that absolution didn't happen on Yato's divine weapon at the end of season 1 I probably would have ditched the show. They really pull you in after that point and it's all uphill from there.
Nice, like Kenshin, a ex-assassin trying to fix old mistakes..but God's style!
Isn’t it great when your favorite TV show has characters from all over the world? A lovely Spanish or a funny Indian accent can always make a show interesting but cultural presentation is what brings awe to the viewers life. I am presenting you with the three best TV shows that will add colors to your to-watch list!
While we celebrated the Pride month just now, why not talk about some awesome TV shows focused on LGBT characters. What if you want to learn about the people at large but you realize that there is no diversity in your close social circles. That’s when a good TV series can enlighten you with the ideas and realities. It can also save you from awkward moments in the real life by providing the right insights.

A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
