This is so weird, I dont like it but I cant stop watching... What sorcery is this?
It's hard to make any opinion about a show that has a different style, cast, story and quality for each episode. It doesn't have a particular atmosphere or genre, it redefines itself with every single little story. Some of the stories are interesting, some of them are rather not. Usually these anthology series at least have the same atmosphere or way of storytelling throughout the whole show, but not this one. This one thing about it makes it pretty hard to say anything about it, and also to watch it. Because you can get obsessed with the second episode's characters and plot - as I got - but can get very bored by the third one - as I got. I would say that I could give some episodes 10 points out of 10 or something like that - because there are some truly brilliant piecies of art among those short stories - , and 5 of 10 for some other. But overall, so far there has been more great ones, although it is not granted at all that it will stay the same. You can never know. And this will drive you crazy for sure. Or at least me.
remake of inside nº 9 ? ..
Yeah sick! I love it
There's no two ways around it, this is a bad series. Every single episode is a lengthy exploration of literally nothing. No intrigue. No particular acting skill. No finding yourself drawn to the characters or setting. This is leftover ideas compiled with hot names onto a series of abject failure and low effort. You see every plot point coming. You can predict the dialogue. It's just all-around cheap. You won't remember moments or lines from old episodes. You won't care to revisit even a favored actor who got conned into appearing in this. I watch it sped up like a CW show so, on the off chance we're discussing it and I just finished an episode, I can lay into the degree of specific criticism that manifests as the tar creeps over me. I actually decided to rate it one heart lower after reading this because it's HBO. You don't get to be HBO and accept this. That's a poor job.
dropped. its way too mediocre. i can do mediocre but this is just... too much
I am only half way through the second season at this moment. I can't recall ever seeing a show (particularly anthology shows which I have watch many of) with such consistently horrible endings on basically every single episode.
A decent anthology series. Each episode is another story of different people at different periods of time. Anything can happen, and it does. Some stories are really good, some are a miss, some leave you scratching your head.
TheLeVie — thank you for a great review.
Overall very weird. Not quite sure if I like it on episode 6 now. I like that every episode is different and that nothing is connected so far but all I can say is that perhaps it's a bit too weird for my taste or not weird enough.
Like I mentioned before, during these times, you have to be able to relax and is there a better way than sitting back and binging on a really good series? I don’t think so! We’ve already covered some series that are available on Netflix, but what about other services? Well, now we’re going to see what Hulu has to offer.
Lately, I’ve been re-watching a lot of tv shows I used to watch growing up. Even though it makes perfect sense, I was really surprised how different was my point of view now, than it was ten or fifteen years ago. Suddenly, my favorite characters aren’t the favorites anymore. Besides, I’ve forgotten tons of what was happening, that’s why I had so much fun re-watching everything. I highly suggest you do the same thing!
I remember watching a lot of “Pokémon”, “Digimon”, “Dragon Ball Z” etc. when I was growing up. Little did I know back then, I wasn’t watching cartoons but animes. Even now that I’m all grown up, I still enjoy watching them. There are many more genres to choose from and it’s always so full of action. The music in it is so great, you’ll definitely find yourself listening to songs long after you’ve finished watching.
I am Sophie and this is my website.
A little about me 👋 I am a marketing student in Paris. I love spending afternoons with friends in a cafe or a park.
But more than anything else, I love watching (.. binging…) series on my computer on rainy Sundays or any sunny day for that matter 🙈
I must have watched hundreds of shows by now, from romance to science-fiction series. Often I like to go back to a show I enjoyed. But I don’t feel like watching it all over again…
I created this website so myself and others could find the best episodes of our favourite shows. As of today, I have about 1,000 shows on the website with votes and rating coming from fans.
Hopefully, you can join me from your sofa and enjoy some nice TV!
