Jackie Chan Adventures is an American animated television series chronicling the adventures of a fictionalized version of action film star Jackie Chan. Many of the episodes contain references to Chan's actual works. This series ran on Kids' WB! from September 9, 2000 to July 8, 2005 for a total of 95 episodes, or 5 seasons. During its run, it was also shown on Cartoon Network, and afterwards, its reruns landed on Disney XD. An Arabic translation has been airing on MBC 3 since early 2006 and a Tamil translation has been airing on Chutti TV since its launch. It also used to air on Cartoon Network in Urdu. There have been several toys and video games based on the series. Its main character designer is Jeff Matsuda.

While trying to obtain the big-horn sheep that embodies the power of astral projection, the Dark Chi Enforcers bungle it so badly that they are banished by Daolon into limbo. Jackie, Jade and Uncle realize that the sheep has astral projected and they must figure out where the astral-sheep has gone. Daolon summons the Shadowkan to do his bidding. With Uncle's magic they locate the astral-sheep and discover that the astral-sheep can talk! The Shadowkan invade the dream scaring the sheep into the night. Jade goes to sleep to find the sheep and communicate with it. But as the astral-sheep returns to its body, Daolon is there to absorb the astra-sheep/power. Daolon uses his new powers to seperate Jade and Jackie's astral forms from their bodies and seal them out. Uncle counteracts Daolon's sealing spell, but returns Astral-Jackie and Jade to the other's body. In the sequel to ""Shell Game,"" Jade tries to take the rabbit talisman to school to prove that her adventures really happened. As she sets out for school, Kepler's cronoton beam, which disrupts the time-space continuum, hits the talisman and sends her back to 1976. Unfortunately, the Dark Hand have traveled back in search of the rabbit talisman, equipped with a crystal ball Shendu gave them so they can return to the present. Jade gets 10-year-old Jackie and younger Uncle to help her, but the Enforcers locate 10-year-old Valmont, and 36-year-old Jackie comes back to help Jade. Soon it's a showdown at the school dance(Finn stops fighting to boogie) during which Jackie and Jade grab the crystal ball and send the Enforcers back to the early 1900's.

Jackie, Uncle, Tohru, and Jade discover that they have overlook something in the ancient writings by making the horrible mistake of placing the final oni mask along side the other eight in Section 13. By doing this, they have released Tarakudo and his generals from the masks that bind them. The entire world begins to be engulfed in total darkness as the shadokahn are now free to walk the earth.

Daolon Wong releases Shendu from his etheiral enprisonment in exchange for the talisman power of the Dragon - Combustion. Jackie, Uncle, Jade and Thoru attempt to stop Shendu's return to earth but fail. Shendu goes back on his deal w/ Dalon and absorbs the Dragon power for himself, and then drains Dalon of the tailsman powers he holds. Shendu persues Jackie back to Section 13 where the other talisman animals are. Before Shendu can absorb their powers, Jackie and Jade flee with the animals. Shendu stops Jackie and Jade at the zoo. Depsite Jackie's heroics, Shendu absorbs all of the talisman powers. Before Shendu can finally destroy Jackie, Uncle, Thoru and Section 13 arrive chanting a chi-spell (that Uncle got from Daolon Wong). The spell returns Shendu to his 'original' statue form and the talismans pop-out from his body. The talismans and Shendu are locked up in Section 13's vault for good.

Shendu retrieves all twelve talismans and transforms into a humanoid dragon. Now, he is on the loose and ready to destroy the entire continent of Asia. Jackie, Uncle, and Jade must find the demon and annihilate it before Asia is devastated. Uncle makes a magic potion that allows Jackie to penetrate Shendu's skin to steal the twelve talismans back.

Jackie, Jade, Uncle, El Toro and Paco track the talisman power of the Rat (reanimation) to Mexico. Finding the rat in an acient Aztec temple, El Toro accidently causes the rat's powers to accidently bringing a statue of the God Quetzalcoatl to 'life'. God Q mistakes Jade for the Goddess Chiuacoatl. In attempting to save Jade, El Toro is mistaken by God Q for Xoloti who takes souls to the underworld. God Q captures out heros on the outskirts of a nearby village. Daolon arrives to take the rat for himself. Jade manages to change the marking on Daolon's forehead to resemble that of Xolotl and convinces God Q that Daolon is the real enemy, not El Toro. Grabbing the rat from Daolon, Jade runs into the village and animates the Super Moose plush toys being sold there. The Super Mooses free Jackie and the others. God Q defeate Daolon and learn how he was brought to life, and agrees to be returned to a statute.

Ratso obtains the next Oni mask and has summoned a new deadlier type of Shadowkahn with sharp metallic claws and razor pointed feet that appear to be unstoppable. The team discovers that Jackie is protected by the dog talisman and Jade uses the Rooster talisman to make a carpet fly so they can escape from Shendu. This episode come right after ""The ox-head incident"". Tohru is trying to push the ox down the mountain, but the ox refuses to budge. Just then Chow, Finn, and Ratso appear, demanding the ox. Jade throws her energy bar, and the ox charges right through the trio, causing them to poof. Then Hak Foo shows up, and everyone except Jackie gets into their plane safely, but the pilot is able to spin the plane around, saving Jackie, and dropping Hak Foo. The Talisman power of Levitation has been tracked to Malaysia where Jackie battles the Dark Chi Enforcers for the special rooster. On the return home, Uncle informs Jackie that he has trakced the heat-beam talisman power to a pig in Kansas. He and Tohru will meet Jackie and Jade there. Jackie and Jade track the pig to a farm where they try and convince the farmer to part with his prize winning pig. Later they return to 'sneak out' with the pig, and activate the pigs heat-beam eyes in the process. The farmer's two sons attack the 'pig rustlers'. Durrning the mele, the rooster's cage is knocked open and it takes off with the pig, literally (with the rooster on it's back, the pig can also levitate). Daolon and the D. C. Enforcers arrive to obtain both of the animals.
