In the Bob's Burgers episode, "Fort Night", the Belcher kids and their friends head out for a Halloween night adventure fueled by candy and excitement. When the kids decide to build a fort, they soon find themselves taken hostage by Louise's wacky friend, Millie. The antics that follow are hilarious as the kids try to think of ways to escape the fort and make the most of the Halloween "treasure trail". Meanwhile, Bob and Linda are trying to make a Chinese dragon costume for the kids, leading to plenty of comic moments.

The episode is a classic and is well-received by critics. With the kids stuck in the fort and the Bob-Linda B-story, the episode manages to inject real stakes into a pretty absurd setup, resulting in buckets of fun. While the episode may not be as good as "Full Bars", it is still a worthy Halloween classic from the show.

In the episode "The Equestranauts" of Bob's Burgers, Bob and Tina go undercover at an Equestra-con, a convention based on the animated show "The Equestranauts" which is beloved by a subculture called "Bronies". To Tina's surprise, the fandom is made up of middle-aged men, and when an overzealous fan tricks her out of her rare toy pony, it's up to Bob to get it back. Bob does this by dressing up as a minor character from the show and infiltrating the convention. The episode is an affectionate parody of the Brony subculture, and the lengths Bob goes to for his daughter's treasured toy is both funny and endearing. Additionally, Paul F. Thompkins adds an extra layer of hilarity to the role of Bronconius, the head of a clique within the fandom. The episode also offers a bit of kindness to the Bronies, emphasizing that the subculture can be wholesome even for middle-aged men. From Bob's coaching of Tina with fan fiction to the surprise twist at the end, there are plenty of laughs to be had in this episode.

In the Bob's Burgers episode "Slumber Party", Linda tries desperately to socialize her daughter Louise by inviting four of her classmates over for a surprise slumber party. Bob takes on the challenge of catching a renegade raccoon while Linda still finds time to entertain herself by creating an elaborate backstory for a pair of raccoons. Everyone is in character, providing plenty of comedic moments as well as an understated emotional kick at the end.

Linda is in rare form, creating an imaginary world in which Louise needs a slumber party and Tina should be the blase older sister, Gene the pesky brother. Meanwhile, Bob is reluctantly but unexpectedly invested in the event and Teddy, Tina, and Gene all get their own share of laugh lines. The slumber party attendees all have their own quirks and the germaphobe provides some additional comedic moments. The episode is a laugh-a-minute with enough heart to give it heft and make it truly superb.

Bob's Burgers episode "The Kids Run Away" follows Louise's attempts to escape a dreaded trip to the dentist. Upon learning that she needs a filling, Louise runs away from the dentist's office and seeks refuge at her Aunt Gail's. Louise's parents, Linda and Bob, try to convince her to come home but Louise is determined to stay away. Linda then sends her two other children, Tina and Gene, to join Louise at Aunt Gail's in a bet that Louise won't last the weekend with Aunt Gail's "craziness".

At Aunt Gail's, the kids have a wild time and Louise finds solace in Aunt Gail's free-spirited lifestyle. But when Louise's parents arrive, they are shocked to find their children having so much fun. After some convincing, Louise finally agrees to go home and Tina and Gene reluctantly follow. The episode ends with the kids coming to terms with their parents and realizing the importance of being a family.

In Bob and Deliver, Bob fills in as a substitute home-economics teacher at school, and creates a fully operational restaurant in the classroom. While Tina is initially delighted to have her dad as a teacher, tensions arise when she gets lost in the shuffle. Meanwhile, the other Belcher kids take jobs at the school restaurant, leaving Linda to run the burger joint by herself.

This episode is full of comic gold. Bob, with his enthusiasm for teaching his students how to cook, is a delightful contrast to the resistance of the kids, Frond, and the cafeteria industrial complex. The caustic lunch lady and the head of the cafeteria company provide a good mix of comedy and tension. On the other side, there is Linda teaching Teddy to dance, and a great closing beat with Bob apologizing to Tina and affirming their bond. This episode is full of great situational comedy, physical comedy and improvisational scenes, making it a true comic winner.
